Coinless Slot Machines

For convenience and effectiveness, there are many casinos that are removing the coins from the slot machine and choosing to use electronic vouchers, electronic calculators to determine the amount of tokens are being won and the amount of coins that are being used for each spin. These slot machines are referred to as coinless slot machines.
Why have casinos made the switch to coin free slot machines? There are many reasons that casinos have decided to make the switch – here are just a few:
Coinless slot machines make use of receipts with bar codes that contain the information about the amount that has been won or lost. This information can be obtained from the first slot machine, and in the case that the player decides to cash out, the voucher will be printed. The player has two choices with the slot machine voucher – they can redeem
the voucher through the casino for their winnings, or the voucher bar code can be scanned and the credits that have been accumulated can be transferred to another machine. This way, it reduces the amount of coin which is required at the casino, reduces counting time and also reduces the bacteria which can accumulate through coins that are passing through hundreds of hands per day.
